Emergency and non-emergent transportation to hospitals in south-central Pennsylvania, Life Lion offers 24/7 emergency medical services (EMS) and 911 response to numerous municipalities throughout Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Lebanon, York, Lancaster, Berks and Franklin counties. The Life Lion team includes paramedics, emergency medical technicians, nurses, physicians, pilots, dispatchers, and mechanics.

Penn State Health is fighting cancer on every front—from prevention and early detection to advanced treatment and ongoing support—through our integrated network of comprehensive cancer services, strengthened by the robust research and leading-edge clinical trials led by Penn State Cancer Institute.

Slated to open in October 2025 in Enola, Cumberland County, the new Penn State Health Cancer Center at Hampden Medical Center will join our existing cancer centers on the campuses of Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and St. Joseph Medical Center and bring our exceptional cancer care closer to home for more of our patients, while meeting an ever-growing service need on the West Shore.
